International Trade & Procurement Specialist

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Majors in Computer Science, IC design, Electronic Information, or International Trade are preferred
  • Engineering or technical background with an understanding of import/export compliance
  • Native-level Chinese, and business-level English or Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • TOEFL score of 80 or above, with experience handling English trade documents (L/C, B/L, etc.)
  • Understanding of international trade terms such as FOB / CIF and knowledge of import/export regulations
  • Strong risk awareness and problem-solving abilities

Job Description

  • Manage the full workflow of international trade operations, including order processing, L/C verification, and preparation of customs documentation
  • Ensure compliance with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and destination-country export/import regulations
  • Select and manage logistics partners, and evaluate cost options for sea and air freight
  • Monitor shipment progress and organize B/L and customs-related documents
  • Coordinate with the finance team on tax-related matters (e.g., consumption tax, export tax refunds)
  • Respond to changes in international trade policies, such as tariff adjustments and regulatory updates
